angelika cat castaneda, age 56, is one of the most recognizable names and bodies in ultra endurance sports.
She earned the Death Valley Cup in 1999 by becoming the first woman to complete both the 508 (3rd place in 43:46:40) and the Badwater 135 mile running race from Badwater to Mt. Whitney (1st place and new course record of 36:58).
